Cerquone Gallery

In collaboration with Cerquone Gallery, this edition presents two exclusive limited pieces — one from each artist — as part of the collection Del Mediterráneo al Caribe. Each work is released in a series of 25 pieces, in 70 x 50 cm format, printed on Fine Art paper.

These pieces are limited-edition serigraph reproductions of the original works — Musa №1 de Degas (2022) by Iván Forcadell and La Cópula (#1 & #2) (2024) by Sixe Paredes — preserving the essence, texture, and visual language of each artist’s practice.

Del Mediterráneo al Caribe unfolds as a dialogue between Barcelona and Caracas, where two distinct artistic languages converge through color, memory, and form. The collection traces an emotional bridge between territories — from the intimacy of personal narratives to the depth of collective memory.

Iván Forcadell brings a visual universe that moves between the organic and the abstract, where childhood memories, folklore, and irony coexist with a vibrant, expressive use of color. His work feels immediate and alive, rooted in a deeply personal connection to memory and everyday life.

In contrast, Sixe Paredes constructs a poetic system of symbols shaped by his encounters with ancestral cultures. Through color, light, and recurring motifs such as birds, his work transcends representation to become a language of memory, spirituality, and collective consciousness.

Together, the pieces within Del Mediterráneo al Caribe create a layered conversation — one that moves between the personal and the universal, inviting a deeper, more intuitive experience of space and meaning.

Sixe Paredes
